Rest in awareness.
Applied Awareness
Mindful communication
Each evening, recall one communication from your day.
It does not need to be difficult.
Simply a moment where you noticed wanting something from the interaction.
Bring awareness to your experience and to the perspective of the other person.
Reflection
After your practice or at the end of the day, take a few moments to journal:
Who was involved in the interaction?
What did you want from the other person, or how did you want to be treated?
What actually happened?
What do you imagine the other person wanted or experienced?
How did you feel during and after the interaction (physically and emotionally)?
What are you noticing now as you reflect?
